CROW'SCLAW - 200km/h
Power metal-ish instrumental. I dunno, ask Ein.

Mostly video game (Touhou and Type Moon) covers, but they have some OC, such as the stuff from this album.
Which is actually one of their best.
Do check out this one, though, which, in my opinion, is his best song.

Van Canto - Fear of the Dark
A Capella cover of Metallica. Is either horrible or hilarious. Possibly both.

Iron Maiden, not Metallica.

Glad you picked up on that and not me.

I knew that. >_>

Also, already in my favourites, 200KM/h was just the first one there.

If we are talking about metal:
Powerglove-Mario Minor

Powerglove-Metal Kombat for the Mortal Man

Powerglove-Holy Orders

Basically nitendocore, taking old nitendo games and giving the music a few degrees of awesome, and with their upcoming albums they will be doing old cartoon themes, really can't wait.

This thread is getting less upbeat and more metal. I think we need somethin fun to mix it up.
Bit Shifter - Hexadecimal Genome, a textbook example of what to expect in chiptunes.

On a side note, now I need to get some of this powerglove stuff somehow... Why can I not enjoy mainstream stuff more, it is eayser to buy!

Anime music injection!

Allow me to show you Trigun's H.T, just in case you hadn't heard it. Else, let's all cheer for Crule angles thesis!

Also, Bakemonogatari changed it's opening theme each episode, but there were all awesome, this one included!

And now that I think of it, Moon phase's Neko mimi mode was fun too... See, you got me started!

I posted that same van Canto cover in the very first post :P  They're an epic band.  Without contest the most impressive a capella act out there.

Also love Blind Guardian.  Nightfall in Middle-Earth is an incredible album.  Best musical storytellers of our time.

They basically turned every major story of The Silmarillion into a song, and did an amazing job.  Nightfall itself captures tons of complex thematics and plot progression with a great deal of finesse.

Since I have insomnia, and my music repo is pretty limited (though much less so now that I've uploaded all these songs to make this list), here's a list of songs that help me sleep at night:
Rage Against the Machine - Born of a Broken Man
Rage Against the Machine - Ashes in the Fall
Rage Against the Machine - Mic Check
YUI - Again
YUI - No Way
YUI - Jam
マキシマムザホルモン - 絶望ビリー
マキシマムザホルモン - 糞ブレイキン脳ブレイキン・リリィー
マキシマムザホルモン - ブラック¥パワーGメンスパイ
Dr. Steel - Drop Da Bomb
Dr. Steel - Lullaby Bye
Dr. Steel - Lament for a Toy Factory
Smashing Pumpkins - Today
Smashing Pumpkins - Rocket
Smashing Pumpkins - Disarm

So I noticed Rage Against the Machine, and lost all respect for your musical opinion.

Then I just so happened to notice smashing pumpkins at the end of your list, and all repect was returned with some intrest. Do you listen to Zwan?

I listen to alot of different bands, from the cutest twee songs you can name, to the sickest (name)core you can find, from the classical to the classics, but for the life of my I have never found myself enjoying that band. Not once, and I did give it a very decent try.
