Well, you're part of Middle Earth as well as I am.  I write the lore for both of my games, so I've made up heroes that I haven't shared yet.  They're just there as plot hooks, because I'm DnD savve enough to know what makes a nice adventure starter.

Same here most of my actions in the second age have been leading up to something I plan to do once the third rolls over, it involves Fire, powered armor, and the equivalent of Christopher Columbus but without the stupid jerkassery.

Okay, I'm all for this hero thing. If we can get another vote from the rest of the players in Gyrandor then I'll add it as a house rule.

So there have been quite a storm and I haven't been able to connect to the internet before now.

11+(1+4=5)=16

The giant bug lowered it's head so that its mandibles were arming towards the armored one.
At the time the Dragon arrived he was prepared to launch against the previous challenger.

"You are no ordinary dragon. Stay out of this, the armored one challenged me."

Command Avatar for 1 point.
then I spend 6 points to create a race, and a subrace for 4 points.
Also Command race for 4 points.

The bug shook it's shell about a thousand insects leapt towards the ground.
Upon impact, shivering in pain as they were twisted into into hexapods with humanoid torso.
They all had scythe-like forearms like those of a preying mantis.
Suddenly, about two hundred of them shed off their scythes, leaving arms with three fingers on each hand.
They also grew a brain, thus their skulls became more elongated, they lost their mandibles and instead gained a toothy maw.
The lesser ones charged towards the armored being, as the more intelligent, and more evolved ones stayed back, waiting for their master's orders.

I have now 1 point left.

Things have gotten more interesting now, haven't it?  :D

As for the hero thing, sure, Ill vote for that. but I think more cities should be buildt first and I have some ideas for this side of the.. river/chasm thing..

The hero idea is more for the third age.  The first age has time passes of 500 years, and the second 100 years.  Unless you have Elves or some really long lived mortals, they won't get anything done.  Age of Relations is more around 10 I think, which would allow for heroics.

So I have been watching others of other RTD's of similar kind.
And I envy their maps, we should detail this one abit well before we do the hero thing.

How are we going to do this combat? I don't think that the 2d6 thing would be quite epic enough, in my opinion it should be role-played out somehow.

Shall we decide with a majority vote?

2+1+12=15
I spend 7 points creating an avatar. I spend 1 point commanding my new avatar. I spend 3 points commanding my order.
"And in the distant south, in the acid-burned wastelands of the island of the dead, the last free undead found the corpse of a dragon, freshly killed. And he took it's body, but once he inhabited it, he was bombarded by voices; for this dragon had been of the Dusk Flight, and the power of the Lord of Night and Day was within him. And the voices said;
'Thou shalt pay for desecrating the body of my loyal follower! Just as this body has served me in life, so too shall it serve me in death!'
And the undead was pained, but he was promised wonders of which he could never dream, the rise of his kind over the world. And so Flee'gth, Lord of Nightmares, came to exist. But he saw that his kind was imprisoned, beneath the stone that blanketed the land. So he went among the stones, and broke them, and those he freed he called the Dawnbreakers. And he set forth the Dawnbreakers, and ordered them to free their compatriots: and they did so. And the great stone at the far south of the island was broken open, and there was found nothing more than an empty skeleton, for the spirit of ragnarok97071 had long since vanished from the land. So it was buried, and Flee'gth began to plan the rise to power of his kindred."

I have 4 points remaining.
