If you aren't averse to DosBox then I would say Covert Action from Abadonia would be an excellent choice.

You might be able to play KotOR (my 12" with ION2 can). Fallout is a definite. But for the most part I have no clue. I have no laptop specs to work with.

4500?! Can you play anything other than roguelikes with that? I don't think I could even play Windows XP with that...

I was able to play KOTOR 1 in my asus EEE 1000H, and it has a considerably shittier graphics card than that.
