All of this really makes me wonder.. do the Gazans still think Hamas is able to protect them, at all? Where are their fighters trying to help any wounded on the streets? They're cowards, and won't even attempt to help their people if it means risking a Hamas soldier. I just want this over. The Palestinian people deserve better.
They probably think Hamas is at least willing to fight for them, and no matter how ineffectual that is, there's a lot of rage on the ground over the situation they are in (and the fact that terrible people exist everywhere). Hamas has been actively engaging the IDF ground invasion forces though, and has now killed more soldiers than they killed anyone since the last major Israeli invasion. 25 Israeli deaths now since the operation began, 23 of those military.
They are still horrible, but I have a feeling most Gazans see them as the only people that are at least pretending to act in their interests. Worth remembering, also, how little Hamas can actually
do to protect them. They can't exactly stop missiles.
