The paragraph just below the videos.

If google translate wouldn't translate it correctly, it basically says he was charged with throwing a molotov bottle and throwing stones.

Could be that their information is out of date, because they also talk of a bond of $3000 while the bond was later lowered to $800

It says 3000 NIS, which online currency converters assure me is ~878 USD. Al-Jazeera mentioned his bail being $850, so that sounds about right.

I'd say "terrorist" is a strong word to use. Kid was there for his cousin's funeral, according to the above article. Said cousin being the one they found burned to death a few days ago. Given the atmosphere currently prevailing over there, I can see a 15-year-old (nothing says "fuck you, I'm invincible!" like being 15 and American) getting caught up in the moment and wanting to join in with family and friends. A brand of protest tourism. Which is incredibly stupid, yeah, but the results were just a little bit overkill.

Oh, my bad then. I still wonder why Haaretz only mentioned the sling.

Well, apparently Israel is considering yet another ground intervention in Gaza. No source though.

Be careful out there.

The ground op hasn't started yet, but there are rumblings that it might start soon.

Also, something I spotted when I went to look at Ukraine news. Apparently Hamas was aiming for the nuclear reactor that they have in Israel. Not sure exactly what would happen if a rocket actually managed to hit and damage the reactor, besides loss of electricity.

Israel has no nuclear power reactors. The reactor in Dimona is officially a research reactor. (Besides, a nuclear power reactor can shrug of one of Hamas's rocket attacks). It's suspected (public secret really) that it was used to produce nuclear weaponry.

I think it's shut down know, so any impact would be minor. Then again, the reactor is 40 years old, and as a research reactor lacks a containment vessel. However, with no design details publically available, we can't say anything about the safety.

A successful strike against Dimona would be mostly a morale victory. Israel has been very protective about it. (Shot down on of their own fighter jets for accidentally overflying it, shot down a passenger airliner that was out of course, and used Mossad to kidnap a defecting technician.)

Isis now nuclear. It's not enriched, might not even be good enough for a dirty bom.
