Ethnic Cleansing is the forcible removal of a people. This counts bulldozing their villiages in order to build suburban enclaves for jewish settles as much as it includes shoveling them into mass graves.

You're mixing up Gaza and the West Bank, dude.

And while "ethnic cleansing" is probably an accurate description of what is happening to parts of the West Bank (i.e. when they destroy villages to make military zones, simultaneously giving old military zones to settlers), the term is problematic because it implies they're kicking people out of the West Bank wholesale, which isn't really going on. Keeping people out who travel away for too long, that happens (at least to Jerusalem residents) but nobody is being kicked across the Jordan like in '48.

Okay, Hamas announced a ceasefire, and Israel pounded it until it resumed shooting rockets. It seems it's the second time this happen (although I'm not sure the first time was a real cease-fire or if they just stopped shooting for some other reason). Considering this whole she-bang was supposedly to stop Hamas from shooting rockets, Israel is now officially a douchebag.

Nah, mate. Just going to jump on the IMO justified Israel hate bandwagon here and say that it's simply ignored by the media. As examples in Europe - I don't know enough about the USA to judge, but it's probably the same over there - show, anything that shows Israel as something else than an absolutely just nation that is only defending itself from these evil extremists - or going even further, a nation that deserves to kick them out simply because they "focus the attention of terrorists on themselves" or "act as our shield" or whatever will you is going to get a hundred-or-so different organizations breathing down their neck because, well, "hurr antisemitism".
I had the honor of meeting with a former ambassador of Israel to my country a couple years back, which... well, it did break the illusion I had until then. I won't dare post the entirety of the rant I've already assembled for my and the reader's sake, but their propaganda is damn strong.

Mind you, Wikipedia just claims it to the vote done post world war 2.
What I'd like to read is why they decided to do it in palestina, for what reasons, and so on. Basically a 'Why in Palestina and not in russia, who's filled with unused land? Or why not in antartica?'

They did it in Russia. It's called the Jewish Autonomous Oblast and it's in far eastern Siberia where barely anyone else lived. Stalin "encouraged" Jews to go out there to work and build a Jewish, Yiddish-speaking, secular Communist society, and some did, but as with all these places in Russia, the ethnic Russians migrated East and filled everything up so now there's basically no Yiddish spoken and barely any Jews.

But there have been other proposals for a Jewish state's location, such as Patagonia, British Uganda, Guyana, Madagascar, remote Japanese islands (or so some say), along with other community proposals such as a community in Alaska, the Northern part of the Northern Territories in Australia and Jodensavanna, Surinam.

So basically there 'are' Jewish people in other places in the world. 'Other countries' sounds better. So the question is: what's the fuss with Israel? No, better yet.
Why was the thing in Israel done differently than in other parts of the world?
Mind you, I'm not querying on legitimacy or not, I'm querying on why were the 'Russian Jews' brought there as 'russian jews' instead of founding an outright state in russia, and why instead it was done differently with Israel.
