Indeed. I wish world leaders would get the message that you can successfully deal with Islamist groups like Hamas by undermining their rhetoric through your actions, not validating it. If removing Hamas was their actual goal, then yes. But the pattern of actions indicates that the goal is displacing the Palestinians to make room for Jewish settlers. Israel has broken their pledges and violated the peace process in favor of settlement every single time.

From what i hear it didn't really work in Egypt.
They're busy curb stomping religious minorities and thinking about demolishing the Sphinx and Pyramids as "Pagan Idols".
Neither of those did anything (or could do) to annoy them but... yeah.
