Apparently creepy stare are part of the sanction package against Syria (French Foreign Minister).

Record approval ratings for the US in Libya.

It's not unexpected: Libya has a law which bans expressing support for Gaddafi in any way.
As a result, all Libyans have suddenly started to love America.

Guardian G.I., you're ironic on that one, right? Even if you can't support Qaddaffi (which I'd like a source please, it seems weird they have a law to prevent people from supporting a dead man), the question asked has nothing to do with it.

Its "Do you approve or disapprove of the jobs performance of...", followed by a list of country. US is 54% approve vs 30 disapprove. Russia, that supported Qaddaffi got favorability ratings of -32%. :p

(which I'd like a source please, it seems weird they have a law to prevent people from supporting a dead man)

It was introduced in May by the NTC. Then it was scrapped by the Libyan Supreme Court for being unconstitutional. (honestly speaking, I didn't knew that when I was writing the previous post).

Even if it was true, your points still didn't make any sense. The much more logical answer is that they didn't like Qaddaffi and strangely are supportive of the people that helped them kick his ass.

Egyptian protesters attack US embassy in Cairo over obscure apparently anti-Mohammed film.

On 9/11, no less. Fail, Egypt. Fail.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-19562692
As if that wasn't enough, Libyan protesters one-upped them. The protesters killed one embassy offical and wounded another, and the embassy was burned to the ground. All for an obscure movie that wasn't even made in the United States. *facepalm* Well this is great. Great move Libyan and Egyptan protesters.

And yet no one actually has a link to this god damn film. Does it even exist? What the hell is it even called?!

This is worse in consequence but less damning to Libya's people, since if it was Ansar al-Sharia who did this it probably doesn't represent the majority of Libyans. They're not just Islamists, or even Radical Islamists, but an offshoot of al-Queida itself.

Supposedly this is the trailer for it. It's roughly at college class project level of quality.

The consulate worker who died was apparently a somewhat prominent EVE player.

Vilerat was a longtime acquaintance of mine on the Something Awful forums and it is absolutely terrible that he died amidst such a senseless action.

Damn, whoever organized this stuff better watch out once it gets figured out. That individual just pissed off some of the international internet, not to mention Americans. It would seem to me organizing something that causes the killing of friends of people who fly spaceships well is not the best idea, especially if doing so makes your death ironic and gets you killed by a drone. Here's to hoping Something Awful does something awful to the mastermind. If my advice were to be taken in this I'd say insulting things like what supposedly caused this aren't the answer; instead place the deceased spacefarer's achievements and actions in their silly hate-forums or wherever they organize for the leader to see what better men can accomplish in peace and that which their selfish actions threaten.

EDIT: Also the dummies that gave them a reason too.

So supposedly the ambassador and 2 bodyguards visited the embassy the morning after and were killed by a mob?
