So, Mubarak, if you're reading this: the night of the flight,  you may feel a slight sting. That's pride screwing with you. Screw pride! Pride only hurts, it never helps.

Could be his heart too. He is an old man after all.

In other news, the King of Jordan just sacked his cabinet, hoping to preempt further protests.

If I were Mubarak I'd get out fast. Last time a regime went down in such a show of 0% approval rating the ousted guy ended up getting shot in a kangaroo trial by his own military. So, Mubarak, if you're reading this: the night of the flight,  you may feel a slight sting. That's pride screwing with you. Screw pride! Pride only hurts, it never helps.

Mubarak is a HUGE DF fan.

The "March of a Million" is underway in Cairo.  Aerial footage suggests they're about a third of the way there.  The Army has not only refused to use firepower to dissuade them, but apparently the high command has decided and outright stated that the protesters' "demands are legitimate".  Meanwhile, the cell-phones and Internet have been deactivated again, for what that matters.
Makes me wonder how long it's going to take till the military is going to employ their communications equipment to bypass the constant cellphone cuts...

Mubarak apparently about to announce that he won't run for "reelection" in september. Won't be enough to satisfy protesters, but it seems like he's starting to crack.

EDIT: I think he just signed his own death sentence.

He just held a speech announcing that he's not going to run for another term, but he also labeled the protesters as hooligans and ingrates and how he's never sought power or responsibility and this is how they thank him. Also some empty words about reform and making sure all the looters and arsonists will be arrested (who are believed to be loyalist instigators by most people).

The 100k still at Tahrir square erupted in screams.

EDIT: At one point he even started referring to himself in third person.

AHAHAHHAA! Well, if they catch him he's dead then. Still got pretty good chances of being able to flee the country if he does it fast enough though.

People are pissed off. Live video of violence in Alexandria now. Great, now they're shooting.

EDIT: Calmed down a bit again, but protesters and loyalists are playing halfbrick dodgeball.

You know, considering how he's acted so far, I think he'll really stay and get killed trying to mantain his police state rather than live in a luxurious exile.

Honestly, I'd buy an island off the coast of Italy and live in a villa for the rest of my life. Egypt is kinda hot, overcrowded and poverty stricken right now, why is he so insistent on staying? I know it's his home and all but it's not like he's Mister Popular right now.

What do you call his entire dictatorship so far? Hell, it even has the false promises of democracy.
