I would like to point out that this represents 8% of the people in Gaza.  If you live in Gaza then you almost certainly know someone who has lost their home in this conflict.

The USA has "suspended" its embassy in Tripoli in Libya due to marauding militias. John Kerry has basically implied Libya is about to collapse completely soon. God knows what that is going to look like.
