The situation in Turkey worries be for the very singular fact: it borders Greece.

It is basically Europe. And I'm not sure I want to see 'European Spring' happening I:

* Haspen might be overreacting.

There just isnt the right set of circumstances nor bodies of people in Europe for similar to occur though. The Golden Dawn might try and start something in Greece, but to what end?

European Spring?  Why would you be against it?  If that happens, it means people think their gov't has been totally shitty.  Which, other then Greece and... maybe one other out there, do not have enough reason to start a popular revolt.
Either way, the Arab Springs were all pretty much triggered by some random thing and quickly got out of hand... not something artificially manufactured by a group that wanted it to happen.  Or did it?

Power to the people?

Macedonia shall rise again!

They already have
Don't be silly, there's no place called the Republic of Macedonia, just the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. Macedonia is a place in Greece! [/totallyunbiased]

i for one would welcome the total collapse of the system in europe... if i was an optimist, but i'm pretty sure it would turn out for the worse. democracy is a farse. we live on a de-facto plutocracy, and they no longer have to put up the façade that they're all about freedom now that communism is dead. in my country we get to pick one of two identical parties, but even then we have lost all sovereignty due to national debt so why even bother...

In your country and everywhere else, pal. The only ones profitting from this shit are banking institutions. Every single nation in the Eurozone is being driven into the ground.

Ow common, cut out with the conspiracy theories.

The banks had to swallow losses of more than 80% on government debts that won't be repaid. And even then, the nationalization of banks might turn out to be profitable in some countries. (Would've been in Belgium, for example, but apparently being nationalized is not good for stock prices).

Mistakes have been made, and many people have profited from them. It was a bubble waiting to burst.

Besides, half the eurocountries are having light growth. And without the slightly dangerous system of artificially injecting money into the economy, as happens in Japan and America.

Neo-nazism in Hungary? A joke, just like neo-nazism in Switzerland (which is currently being demolished by slowly yet surely dismantling the concept of direct democracy - the government apparently disliked what the citizens voted for re: immigration). Leftists from western Europe take what ten years ago would be considered centrist and place it far behind the "worse than Stalin" threshold.

Militias in uniforms were not centrists ten years ago.

There is Neo-Nazism in many places through Europe. Arguably everywhere but the Former West Germany. And no, they aren't just 10 years ago politics. They are very much real, and they do get votes.

In Scotland the National Front is fielding a candidate in a by-election in June. It will be interesting to see the votes that he gets.

Might be because there are some pretty repressive laws against them over in Germany.  *Insert Troll Face*

There are Neo-Nazis in former West Germany. There are less than in the former East and they are politically irrelevant, but they do exist. They tend to keep a low profile and when they try to stage a demonstration, they usually are outnumbered 10:1 by counter-protesters.
It's only the symbols and organisations that get outlawed, you can't outlaw mindsets.

The developments in Hungary are seriously worrying. There are some tendencies toward authoritarian government and anti-semitism that in no way can be considered "centrist 10 years ago".
Switzerland is completely different, not every movement for restrictions on immigration is Neo-Nazism.
