Nothing so far, But a lot of nations are asking that both sides refrain from violence

That's as good as nothing.

Crude oil prices were up a bit today despite the fact that Egypt doesn't really export much oil and the Suez canal doesn't seem to be in any imminent danger of being shut down.

So, what country is next?  I was wrong in guessing that Sudan would be next after Tunisia.

Probably just generic talk about supporting human rights.  I doubt it'll be worth listening to.

Watch France come out of left field, and break all the spreads for who riots next.

If we have riots on this scale in Europe it'll probably start in Greece or Ireland first.  If not those two, then probably Spain.

Let's see:

Stop violence

Respect their rights

Reverse shutdown of cellphone/internet

to Mubarak: Deliver on your promises

So yeah, not much.

Barack's still trying to play both sides, talking like Mubarrak is going to retain power.

Yeah, when it comes to international diplomacy you don't take sides until it's clear who wins, because you don't want to be on the side of the loser.

Nenjin, that's not too likely. French aren't... how to say it... it's pretty much the same in Belgium.
We are fed up with all of our political party, but just don't know what to do. If we riot, who shall we elect?
The socialists? They are in power in Belgium, and worthless in France. The greens? Tried that in Belgium, and ecology isn't a sufficent concern for a party to gain power with it in France. The right? Sarkozy and Berluscony shows exactly what we can expect of populist rIght.
For France, or Belgium to riot, they need hope and desperation, and they lack both.

In France they have riots the scale of the ones we've seen in Tunisia almost biannually...

I'm thinking Yemen.

It was more a tongue-in-cheek comment, considering all the unrest the French have had with unemployed Muslims, and the riots they had. I don't know what the situation on all that is now...but I figured Muslim unrest in one country over civil rights would be the excuse needed in France to start rioting again.
