That is my meta for Org.  I have hopes that the King effect will drive him into usefulness, but we'll see.  He's been known to catch scum in clever ways.  (See Para2 for a classic.)

It's an interesting question. If it's intentional (as opposed to a random selection), then I think the Kingmaker must be town (otherwise it'd be overpowered); if that's the case, I can see a few of our regulars thinking that Org would be an... unorthodox choice, but not necessarily a bad one (the dude is many things, but it'd be a mistake to underestimate him). It also has high lolz value. 8-)

But it's also possible that the kingmaker role chooses at random. In that case, it could be town or not, and we're liable to have some amusing sheriffhoods until attrition takes its toll. I assume that if at any point the kingmaker dies (lynched or NK'd) the game will revert to normal voting.

I think we'll know better about this tomorrow. If, say, Org lynches scum, then a rational kingmaker would try to choose him again (which may or may not be allowed). If he is, or if he doesn't lynch scum and another experienced player is kinged, it'd point to a purposeful selection made by a townie. If we have tomorrow Sheriff Zrk2 or something (no offence intended, just not an established player), then a random selection seems more likely, and alignment is up in the air.

I have no objections to a SaintDraze lynch, though I'd like to hear more people's opinions of it, to give us some meat for D2.  He's obviously new, but that doesn't absolve him of his behavior.


Book:  I see.  I'm of the opinion that the choice was random, for the reason stated earlier- the game started very quickly after 5.5 ended with no period with the thread locked.  Unless the kingmaker got PMed well in advance, they had no chance to pick.

I'm starting to wonder if it's something like Org's role in the second Bay 12 Mafia, where different gametypes were run each day.  I guess we'll see tomorrow.


Also, above is a great reason to lynch SaintDraze.  Again, I'd like to hear everyone's views on it first before the hammer is dropped.
