Boring Raw Replication
« on: January 25, 2011, 04:57:25 pm »

I replicated three entries and all that happened was I embarked as humans with firesnakes. The world burned. I guess now I'll have some fun (not FUN. Alright, maybe a little) with an aboveground human town.

EDIT : All my drink burned... I am struggling to make a well now.

As it turns out, the pen was in fact a poor choice for melee combat in comparison to the sword.
So I just started playing this game and I accidentally nuked the moon.

Does anyone want my copy? It seems to generate a playable human civ every time for the past two regions. (Made a second region for a suitable human town). You might want to take away the fire snakes before you embark, though.

Something interesting I found about raw duplication: If you duplicate different raws around the same time, no matter how many worlds you generate, the regions will be very similar. I have kept a log of Raw duplication, and after generating five worlds, the results was always kobolds, goblins, gremlins, ogres, and trolls as the plains, mountains, forests, sulking, and evil civilizations respectively.

It did. My fortress never made it past the first "Thief! Protect the hoard from the sulking filth." message.
