Some of them are funny, others horrifying. SCP-835 is the best example of horrifying that I can think of off the top of my head.

It's not hard. Some guy relised that what it is morning somewhere, it is evening in some other place. Therefor he assumed that there were, in fact, four seperate days going on at once, and the earth could be split into a cube, were each side was a day.

This theory has been known for some time, however, as smarter people than the timecube guy thought of it, they split it into 24 time zones. Timecube guy is just too crazy to see it.

He is also some what racist.

SCP foundation is absolute win.  My personal favorite is SCP-173.

EDIT:  There's a fair number of Youtube videos about SCP-173.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBLIAasOfxk

SCP is the essential creepypasta website. It has a clinical air but also the occasional informal section, allowing it to approach terror from all angles. It also has rather exellent quality control. There are addmittedly lapses, but generally it can both becreep and entertain rather well.

The Timecube guy is too scary to be creepy. The fact that this guy gets to vote and own guns, for instance.

Chances are that Dr. Who was copying this thing, not the other way around.

Never said that Moff copied it. I just noticed the similarities.

Err, I meant it the other way round. Whatever.

As an update: I am compiling old-fashioned, decent creepypasta (mostly from the two sites I quoted) into a document format. I'm also weeding out stories I regard as particularily bad (no guarantees as to the quality of the rest, though, as I dont necessarily check every pasta, and tastes vary, anyhow). I'll comment it here when it's ready, in case anyone is interested.
