H.P. Lovecraft! I LOVE his works!

I've had a fascination with it for years, but I'm just starting to dive into the bulk of his work now.

I like At the Mountains of Madness. And the Nameless City. And I'm currently reading the Call of Cthulhu.

Yep, cuz when I asked people to run plot points past me, I was, of course, only joking.

Let me rephrase that: An insane (By Elder Thing standards.) Elder Thing cometh! His name shall be George! I think!

Replace, "plot points" with "characters" You may find that I asked for people to run both by me.

I don't remember the bit about characters...

Come on! He/it would make a great addition! An insane alien creature that has been in hibernation for millions of years!

The 'nid has memories from about one billion years after the universe in 40K burped into existence. That pretty much counts as ancient. Moreso, even if it hadn't been created since then, it had access to the memories of the Hive. As in not napping for several millennia.

I kinda disagree with the Elder Things being Eldritch Abominations. The way they're described in At the Mountains of Madness, they seem to be made of normal matter, and seem to have had a somewhat normal civilization.

Also, I have varied tastes.
