Random guesswork as to how Yumi the goddess-fox' powers work.

Considering she isn't pained by the normal goings about in the food chain, as well as natural events wiping out countless critters by random chance (tornadoes, landslides, vulcanism etc) the effect of bodily harm on her is likely along the lines of {(number of critters getting hurt) * (physical proximity (maybe?))} ^ (strength of emotional ties to said critters).

For instance, in Clay's fight vs. 20ish random elves, her nosebleed was likely caused more by Clay getting a stomping than said elves getting turned to sashimi.

Also considering she atomized a mountain with no ill-effect and the deaths of the GDI randoms seem to have had a greater effect than the GDI's planet being ripped apart, as well as a horde of 'nids having dug and assimilated stone like crazy before launching the rokkits, one can assume that she is mainly affected by actions upon living critters, not inorganic elements.


The 'nid will soon test this hypothesis by carving out "LOL DONGS" in a mountain chain, large enough to be seen from space.

Yumi and Aegis are getting married. Crystal, who was a copy of Yumi, split off into her own person and attached herself to Amy, We found a volcanic hotspring big enough to easly fit Yui in her dragon form, Taric and Ivy got together and Twi turned up
