Yeah, but the CSE is a fairly hard science fiction setting. It does use alcubierre drives and wormholes and some exotic (yet plausible) biochemistries, but that's about it for theorectial stuff.

Eezo on the other hand, is pure, unaldultered Phlebotinum. It's basically magical plot lubricant.
