I keep up and out of sight, trying to heal anyone who's been hit.

Draco:
You fire an arrow at the two nearest crossbowrats, hitting both.
(3 + 1 = 4)
(4 + 2 = 6)
The closest crossbowrat squeaks at he is hit in the back with a flying arrow. He slams into the wall in front of him springs back, and fires one bolt at you, before collapsing.
(Hidden roll)
The crude bolt flies at you, but the rat was inaccurate. The bolt grazes your shoulder, causing a small cut.
(-1 HP)
The other arrow sinks into the second crossbowrat's heart as he turns to face you. He collapses back, dead before he hit the floor.
You charge at the third crossbowrat, swinging with your shortsword.
(5 + 2 +2 = 9)
You slam into the rat, impaling him through the heart. It coughs, it's dark blood staining your blade and armor. It slumps on your blade, dead, before you slide it off.
You turn and fill your mouth with fire, ready to blast the last two.
(3)
(4)
You exhale as hard as you can, and both of the ratmen are caught in the blast of flame. They flail around, on fire, screaming until they are hoarse. Just as their screams die out, they collapse. Both wheeze on the floor for a minute before going silent.

Strife:
You plant the halberd in the ground, and one of the warriorrats impales himself on the blade.
(Hidden roll)
The warrior impales himself through the blade, and slides down the pole. He swipes back at you.
(Hidden roll)
The blade rings as it hits your armor, but you get nothing but a scratch on the chains.

“What are you waiting for? Get in there and help the paladin!” Amonsu said, goading the troll skeleton into the battle. A rather ironic phrase for a necromancer to utter, but Trifes was a decent sort of paladin. The troll lumbered into the battle, raising a club and charging at ratmen soldiers with a silent roar. Amonsu also charged in. He much preferred to stick to magic, but his brute strength did mean he did alright at hand to hand combat. He ran for the rat shaman, flinging a web at him to disrupt his spell.

Fortis:
The shaman finishes his spell before you can web him completely.
A horrible stench rolls over you and Trifes. You feel your flesh start to unknit.
(Amonsu: -2 HP)
(Trifles: - 3 HP)
Your web tangles the shaman, and he can't move! He falls flat on his face.
The Skeletal Troll rushes into combat.
The ratman ducks under the skeleton's first blow, and strikes at it's knees.
(Hidden Roll)
The machete sings as it embeds itself in the trolls leg bone. The ratman can't pull it out. As he tried, the skeleton swings it's club once more.
(2 + 2 = 4)
The club hits the ratman in the head, utterly destroying it.
You counter charge the ratman, swinging your staff wildly.
Before you can hit him, he turns and slices at you.
(Hidden roll)
He hits you, but just barely.
The blade just barely cuts through your robes, giving you a gash across the chest.
(-2 HP)

"Slid onto a halberd pole? How is that even possible?"

Trifes pulls out his shortsword and starts hacking.

"You should be dead or split in half!"

Strife:
He was... traveling at the speed of... love? I don't know.
You mercilessly hack at the dead body with your sword.

Yeah, he should just slide right off, because of the gaping hole in his body.

Paladins:
We don't pay them to think.

Strife:
You charge the Rat Ogre.
(Hidden Roll)
Before you can impale the beast, it hits you in the side with it's massive club. The club smashes against your chain armor, and some of the links shatter, softening the blow a bit. As your feet leave the ground, you toss the halberd at the beast.
(- 3 HP + 1 because of Frelock's praying.)
(Hidden Roll)
The halberd sinks into the rat ogre's chest, impaling it's heart. The beast flails around, but remains standing, the halberd still sticking out of it's chest.
You hit the wall, hard.
(Hidden roll.)
Your head impacts first, knocking you unconscious instantly.
(-3 HP + 1 because of Frelock's praying.)

Ahra:
You swing at the ogre with your morning star, dodging around it's clumsy swing.
(3 + 2 + 2 + 4 = 11)
The ogre's head folds inwards as the morning star, showering you and the wagon with bits of skull and brain.
