Temperature variable flooring.  Is it a wall or is it a floor?  It depends on if it's summer and how much !!FUN!! Th player has had!

Why, if the wax will be able to be molten into a liquid - store wax on the edges of walls and melt it using magma underneath or so, then let it pour onto attackers.

Urist has been ecstatic lately.  She enjoyed a Brazilian wax lately.  She was accosted by deadly deadly bees lately.  She enjoyed fresh honey recently.

Ok, I was doing good until I got to the tissue types of creature creation, and then I gave up.  I may try and make lobster bees a reality though!

Wax can be used in wood polishes, so I guess a relatively easy way to make wax useful would be to add "polish with wax" that works in roughly the same way as gem setting, but only for wood furniture/items.

I can imagine traps. Maybe encase goblins in wax and hammar they then?
