I forget everything else about it, but one humanoid demon I ran in to was a weasel made of vomit.

A gigantic three eyed T-rex that breathed FIRE.

It destroyed a nearby sparrowman village and then sat right outside the walls near the cavern fort D:

I haven't got any *really* crazy ones yet. I had a giant scorpion with a spiral shell (which I can't even picture), an enormous toad that blasted fever-inducing dust in all directions so hard that it blew dwarves back five to eight tiles (and frequently into the damned underground lake), and -- the worst one -- a giant nematode with a hard shell, that kept ripping people's legs off in its mouth and chomped one guy's head so hard that the skull caved in through the +steel helm+. While not particularly crazy, that last one is absolutely terrifying.

I can picture the spiral-shelled scorpion. Picture a gigantic hermit crab. Not make the crab itself a scorpion, with the tail hidden in the shell and a hole available for it to extend from.

A turtle made of fire, which evaporated entire underground lakes in a matter of seconds.

My military didn't have much trouble killing it, but being nearby the creature caused several dwarves to get horribly burned and bleed to death. Should've sent in the crossbow dwarves instead.

I've not found my forgotten beastie yet  :(

I've even chained up a war dog (no 2) and levelled the stone in the surrounding area to make a flat dining spot to entice it in.

(The first dog was eaten by a giant toad)
Forgotten Beasts aren't an above-ground thing. Dig deeper.

Just wondering , Why did i just ocur one in adventure mode while sleeping , one as a king of the gobs (a clown but wathever, same thing) and one as a king of the humans o.o (yet another time , a Clown)?

Well the one I saw in adventure mode (and killed it) , was a Feathered Giant Shelled made out of Flesh Thing (some kind of tortoise) , dang it took me some time to get rid of it .

Ofc I saw titans , but seriously there werent that crazy as that FB

Stone Wera started a competition over at the community games forum where we are trying to draw some of these abominations, we could use some more contestants:

Also, the first forgotten beast to be drawn has quite an interesting description too.

I love fighting forgotten beasts so I tend to tweak the worldgen parameters for more of them.  My current fort has reached the stage where, with luck and careful mining, I have a fully adamantine armoured and weaponised military, so so far we've (touch wood) diespatched all our uninvited guests.  In my current fort so far...

The Forgotten Beast Doto has come!  A huge quadruped composed of bone opal.  It has large mandibles and it squirms and fidgets.  Beware its poisonous vapors!
The Forgotten Beast Rusmo Ebr†sodor has come!  An enormous quadruped composed of marble.  It has a twisting, jointed trunk and it undulates rhythmically.  Beware its webs!
The Forgotten Beast Stran has come!  A towering feathered sauropod.  It has a curling trunk and it squirms and fidgets.  Its scarlet feathers are long and broad.  Beware its poisonous sting!
The Forgotten Beast Reksas has come!  A gigantic blob composed of vomit.  It has an enormous shell and it has a bloated body.  Beware its deadly spittle!
The Forgotten Beast Mithmis Žs Arel has come!  An enormous quadruped composed of flame.  It has a spiral shell and it squirms and fidgets.
The Forgotten Beast Xosun Arutosl– has come!  A gigantic feathered scorpion.  It has a square shell and it appears to be emaciated.  Its gold feathers are patchy.  Beware its poisonous sting!
The Forgotten Beast Muved has come!  A gigantic feathered fly.  It has a round shell and it is slavering.  Its jade feathers are downy.  Beware its webs!
The Forgotten Beast Romi Ome Efeye has come!  A towering scaly crab.  It has two stubby horns and it has a bloated body.  Its cinnamon scales are blocky and set far apart.  Beware its deadly spittle!
The Forgotten Beast Rethi CuthabecŠthutha has come!  A gigantic scaly sheep.  It has two short tails and it undulates rhythmically.  Its slate gray scales are jagged and overlapping.  Beware its poisonous bite!

I think Rethi is my favourite, for being a giant scaly sheep.  Although Romi Omi Efeye has a nice name - say it out loud.

Demons are not the same thing as forgotten beasts. Demons can often hold political positions.

But that's only the humanoid demons. Any other one you won't even see outside of hell unless you dig too deep.
