don't think it should be axis based at all, they are fairly meaning less and result in unrelated actions affecting the general opinion of npcs

I only meant axis in terms of flavors of choices.

The problem with Moral choices in games MrWiggles is the same as the problem with trying to worry players with danger. It isn't a world where morality matters to them.

Actually Fallout 2 did it very well. I'd check it out.

I think Bioshock (IIRC) did the "choice" system (wasn't necessarily moral choice) in that it didn't matter which thing you chose, the game always left the player with the satisfaction of knowing that they made the right choice.

For example:

Your party doesn't trust the New Guy and are worried about him, he's "one of the enemy" but says he's flipped sides.

A) Trust him.
B) Don't trust him.

Well, if you listened to the scientist woman who said she could find a cure, she did and just in time.  If you didn't give her the time, you were (again) right, as she was infected and trying to get you too.

So you found out that the cure for cancer turned out to be a deadly disease. It didn't change the fact that the other choice was eating babies

So you guys are saying that regardless of story you would pay 10 bucks for good gameplay? How important would you guys say art is? None of the team members are really able to produce consistent character sprites.
