Have a good... whatever you're doing now that Countdown is cancelled.

Sort of like an Arch-Liberal Sean Hannity. Only without a radio show to fall back on. And he's on MSNBC.

Not really.
But by you posting, you're just delaying its inevitable death.
Too bad the forums don't have a post without bumping feature.

CNN is a tv station isn't it?

CNN and MSNBC are the liberal mass media in America.
I believe CNN less so, but like I said, I don't watch TV.

And liberal are the 'pot smoking hippies' as oppoised to the 'gun dealing hicks'? Right?
Across the pacific, Liberals are guys that swim out into the ocean in less then enough clothing and try and stop boat people.

In this case, Liberal is more 'Yeah! We can change things!' as opposed to 'Obama is a Muslim from Africa!'
There are, of course, liberals and conservatives who are not that crazy, but that's pretty much what their associated media is like.

Going off over inflated steriotypes makes things easy, otherwise your trying to compair apples to apples of a slighly different shade.

It makes perfect sense to compare apples to apples though.  I mean, you want to have the best apples available, right?

CNN isn't too bad liberally, they're more left than Arch-Left. Fox News is Arch-Conservative "All liberals= Socialist Nazi scum", while MSNBC is Arch-Liberal "All conservatives= Racist gun-toting fascists"

It's really a rather pitiful situation. Instead of having rational political discussion, it's a mudslinging match.

Olbermann claiming that the network treats different employees differently with regards to political contributions is what makes me not care he's being let go. That's a standard rule for any journalist that still takes their ethics seriously. When I read some of his comments, he made it sound like he saying "Well....they did it too!"

Whether or not that's the case, it makes him look petty on his way out and underlines the point that he didn't consider that rule important in the first place. You can't even take a sandwich from a source as a journalist without considering the ethics behind it somewhat, giving the maximum allowable donation to a candidate is just flagrant. If Keith wants to be a political activist or contributor, he needs to do it outside a news network. I've never really liked Olbermann to begin with, but I figured he had a place saying the kind of stuff John Stewart does sans the humor. Too bad he screwed that up.
