I propose a 'tower of terror' idea.

Since time might be of the essence, you might just have to dig a tower in the ground.

Basically, have a platform of a bunch of thrones supported by 13 supports stacked ontop of eachother (or 12 blocks of rock/sand and 1 support at the bottom) and have a bridge so dwarves can get on it. Have a lever on the platform that breaks the support(s) and watch as Disney claims more souls.

Also, if I send my adventurer to the abandoned fortress, are my dwarf's ghosts going to haunt the place?
