54 FPS, 34 dorfs... They're all gonna die but... How?

Attack the liason and the dwarf caravan, and watch everyone go to war with everyone else. Dwarfs suddenly begin to attack their own children, and they're not even tantruming yet.

A civil war is the most !!FUN!! way to go, with maybe a magma flood to top it off (providing it doesnt hurt your framerate too much).

The lever could be beyond the bridge, so that the dwarf walks back under the bridge just as it falls.

...or, instead of a bridge, you could have the lever be on top of a cave-in trap (also linked to said lever, or perhaps a second one right next to it which the last dwarf will pull in fury or despair at the loss of all his friends).
