I'd suggest annexing a nation so that you, at least, have a naval port.

Do keep an eye on Europe as well, there should be lots of things happening over there.

We already have a port actually, that little bit of land betwee Haasa and Omar.

France is at war with Burgundy who, for some reason, has territories within france. Cstille was at war, but that seems to have finished. Brittany was conquered by Burgandy.
Portugal is nearly gone, apparently England and Castille joined up to take it down.
Naples is taking over Italy

Africa is a mess. there is not one country that has a coherent border, most just have a string of unconnected territories

France is at war with Burgundy who, for some reason, has territories within france. Cstille was at war, but that seems to have finished. Brittany was conquered by Burgandy.

I actually saw this coming - AI Burgundy was massing huge armies on the french border, and Burgundy has several CB's on France. (Or did France attack again?) Let's hope they win, which they somehow did during Farseer's turn.

And Brittany was Burgundy's vassal, so they most likely just diplo-annexed.

Is it a bad thing the AI did a better job than me as Burgundy?

I have that problem often as well. AI doesn't bother to check how much money you have left before sending merchants, and I'm too lazy to micromanage that shit.

Keep the yearly mini-AAR'S coming, me likes. Maybe you could include a pic of Europe and/or check how Morocco's doing as well?
