Help me mod. Can't make heads or tails...

Help I can't mod to save my life, but I have an idea that could be interesting though quite impossible right now.
I want to work on making certain custom workshops but I can't make sense of how I should do it.

For example I want to make a special workshop that will do this...
Consume a Seed to produce Wood.

A workshop that would also then take those wood and make special items unique to that race. Such as Wooden Weapons for elves.

A workshop that could turn blood to booze.

A workshop that can be built with different items much like the screwpump is...

IS any of that possible???

No.

Unless I'm forgetting something, no. You could use meat or something instead.

Don't worry. I think only very few people can mod DF enough to save their life from well known disasters. Thankfully, about only 0.0000000145% of human on earth have life dependent on DF modding and you are likely do not fall into that demographic. So focus your time elsewhere more meaningful.

You can effectively get this by having the workshop output wood that doesn't grow anywhere, meaning that it can only be spawned by that civ through that reaction, and then having another reaction that uses that wood to produce a weapon that only appears in the civ's entity entry.
