wrestling wont lvl

I have 10 soldiers that i removed weapons from and they are all dabbling. They wont go any higher. How can I get them to increase thier wrestling skills.

noob question? How do I make a training arena? I looked though all the menus and couldnt find it. Also what will they train on?

You make an arena by digging out a room, building cages containing the practice enemies, linking the cages to a lever, stationing your army inside, locking the doors and pulling the aforementioned lever.

That's the easiest way.

Local wildlife is a good source of practice. Just order them to kill whatever is running around outside.

While adding magma to anything will make it dwarfy, adding the word "magma" to your post does not necessarily make it funny.

I doubt it, they will level striking, kicking and biting skills (shaking an opponent around after biting counts as a wrestling move tho and prolly gives wrestling xp). The attacks that give wrestling xp are grabbing, joint locks, choking, take-downs and so on.
To the OP: Wrestling isn't that great anymore in 3.18 you should really just make them some silver hammers or steel axes. If you want to have fun with wrestling play adventure mode  ;D
