Dual wield- any advantages?
« on: January 18, 2011, 01:35:06 pm »

Are there any advantages if you dual-wield a weapon?
Compared to only a weapon.

I would think you'd get twice as many hits in general, and also be able to keep fighting if one weapon was lodged in a wound.

Nope. You still stay the exact same speed. Only advantages are that you'll have a higher parry rate (proportionate to each weapon and the skill you use it with), higher chance opportunity shots, continuing to fight if you loose one of your weapons, and more variety of damage types in any given turn.
I THINK that's it.
