What's the reoccurring cost of a space shuttle per launch?

I'm giving a green light to Project Falcon (ion booster) and a green light to project Erie/Rex assuming the startup cost isn't more then 15 billion.  What's the startup cost anyhow?

As long as the shuttle isnt destroyed, there isnt any cost to the SHUTTLE. However if it doesnt have it's ownlaunch vehicle that will be replaced each mission.

Example:
Space shuttle on the back of a Ariane 5 rocket. Space shuttle lands safely, need to buy another Ariane 5.

Cost to begin the Mining equipment group of 2 is 15B for both.

Note for Mainiac - I haven't forgotten your question about the required DeltaV for intercepting a comets orbit? (I think was your suggestion), just when i've had a look around i've come up short on sources for such a thing

Sure, but you realise this is more of a company/agency game. You could be an astronaut, but theres not a great deal you could do besides crying for a mission and possibly some actions during a mission.

I'm in to it. I'm covering the weakness on the Russian team with the docking thing, and skilled Cosmonauts aren't easy to find!

That sounds ok, You can have the Soyuz company if you wish? (Soyuz is a antique Russian Capsule program, which is still used)
