Alright, today we are going to be focusing more on one-on-one fights in order to get a caste of more experienced fighters.

The order of the matches may not be the same but the duels will be as follows,

Powder Maceman Vs. Kipi

Lamuril Leafguy Vs. Jmod

Ispil Vs. Callahan

Mogg Vs. Elfy McElferson.


Then we have a rather special fight, some of our fighters have reached a point where they don't need any more iron gear. To this point we've hired a very nice assassin and have given him three pieces of bronze battle gear. Three gladiators will be able to fight him at once and those that survive will get to pick one piece of his gear to use for their own, they will also receive two additional skill points... If they survive.

Why would anyone want to fight for a worse piece of equipment ? Bronze is worse than iron, at least in the current version.

For armor, bronze is significantly worse than iron. An iron spear will pierce bronze armor 2/3 of the times while it will only pierce iron 1/4 of the times.
As far as weapons go, bronze and iron seem fairly similar

Kincaid would be much more fearsome (and deadly) with steel daggers. Dodging and parrying 3 attackers at once, probably all at skill level 3-5, won't be easy and his whole upper body is exposed. If the plan was to have him fight fully iron clad warriors, he would also have about 10% to pierce their armor (assuming daggers are behaving like swords). At least if he were a dwarf, he could enter a martial trance .

Thanks for pointing that out, I remember reading somewhere else that one of the latest versions turned the situation upside down, and thus bronze actually being better than iron. You may consider me wrong unless I manage to find that discussion.

Well that's the problem with the current version, nothing between iron and steel. With steel against iron, might as well not wear any armor at all. We're doomed
