We end tonight's schedule with a classic of the arena, a duel of axedwarves.

Both equally skilled, our two fighter differ mainly by their equipment choice.

On our left, Aximus Prime. In favor of going all out and not bothering about armor, he invested most of his points in the best weapon the arena can provide, and earned whatever pieces he wears from defeated opponents who bet on a more balanced setup. He has been most successful in the fights he participated until now, and there is no real reason why it should stop. As usual with Aximus, he's probably aiming for a quick fight.

On our right, Hail McZone. She wears the traditional dwarven heavy armor suit, covering every part of her body except her feet. Most of her pieces are made of copper, which could prove too little to stop Aximus' mighty shadowsteel weapon, but it has been seen to happen more than once in the past, and all the dwarf needs if a little time to begin her famous dance of death, using her two axes to deal more blows than her opponent can parry or evade.

Aximus's light armor proved to be the best choice once again, as he strikes through Hail's copper gauntlet with ease and sends away her left hand, still gripping one of her axes. Unbalanced, Hail fails to initiate her flurry of blows and kicks her opponent instead, with little effect.

 After both fighter trade blows each side parries with ease, Hail gets back in the fight with two well aimed blow, unfortunately aimed at protected parts of Aximus's body. Aximus answers that by hacking away at her left leg, severing it on the stop. However, Hail is known in the arena for her stubbornness, and she counterstrikes right away by slashing at Aximus's foot.

Alas, her injuries are far more serious that Aximus' at his point, and the wise fighter takes a defensive stance, striking small blows at her while she struggles to injure him more. Concentrating on his defense helps him parry it all away, and he could just as well step back and wait for the dwarf to lose the final drops of blood left in her body. After a little while, the livid Hail finally gives up and dies.

We jon the galdiators in front of a fortress. they await for the challenge they were promised, as well as all of the equipment.


Suddenly, as if it were a whisper in the wind, the first wave appeared.

they were promptly obliterated.


the second wave arrived, fearsome than the last.

They too, were obliterated.

In a final attack, the last wave came in the form of a school of zombie carp.

and in the most anti-climactic ending ever, the gladiators escaped without a scratch.

NOTE:
After this i sent a hell army led by eight skeletal elephants and 80 skeletons. didn't end well.
