Welcome to another night of bloodshed in the arena! This time, we have a special encounter to present to you. Some of our rookies have been getting impatient while waiting for their turn on the ring, and decided to form teams in the hopes of going together in the next tier more quickly.
On the left, two dwarves and one goblin, one swordsman, one tank and one dagger user have decided to team up together and show the world that size doesn't matter when blood is at hand. From top to bottom, we first have Coppershields. The defense specialist will try to intercept as many blows as possible with his twin shields. Then we have Y Fireblood the sword expert, whose task will be to sever the other team member's limbs. Finally, Stabby McStabberson's role will be to stab through the iron helmets with his steel dagger when they're down. Overall, they have thought up their strategy pretty well for rookies, and should be a serious opponent.
On the right, two humans and one elf, one swordsman, one dodger and one marksman, ready to show the little dwarves that they won't be cut any slack for being of smaller stature. From top to bottom, we have Ann, the "distraction" of the group and of a large part of the human audience, for she is completely naked save her right hand, covered with a dark gauntlet. Her apparent vulnerability is not to trust, for she's a master dodger and carries a mean punch. She will most likely try to lure away the other team into thinking she will go down early, providing time for the two others to strike their blows. John Falcon will be there for that, his trusty short sword held firmly in one hand and a shield in the other. All the while, Mr Pointy Stick will be raining arrows from afar, providing some good support for anyone who'd seem to be in trouble.
They're gone, and immediately Y Fireblood's team has the upper hand because of their superior numbers in the melee. Mr. Pointy Stick dead aim rectifies that by shooting Y's weapon out of his hand with a precision arrow.
After having his left arm slashes away by the goblin, Falcon doesn't lose any time and takes advantage of Y's being down from the pain to stab him in the head, his steel sword cutting easily through his helmet. Y will never wake up.
Both Ann and Falcon decide to team up against Stabby, ignoring Coppershields who is behind them avoiding as best he can Mr. Pointy Stick's last arrows.
Winded, the goblin cannot stand up long before the two opponents, and soon John's sword cuts off limbs and the goblin starts losing blood at an alarming rate.
He doesn't survive for long... Now it's three on one, and Coppershields has been struck by one arrow already and is in serious pain.
Still, he puts up the best fight he could in these circumstances, blocking strikes from every direction but quickly losing balance and energy. A single strike from Falcon is enough to disturb his defensive stance, and blows start raining in on him from this moment on. He passes out from exhaustion, pain and blood loss soon after.
