Already Dead will take his arrows and a point in dodging.  quick question: does my character recover his arrows after the fight or will i eventually run out (either way i'll take the arrows this turn)

Secondly, Liberal Dmite II appears to have sworn revenge in his bio against Already Dead and he has volunteered for a special 1 on 1 match.  I would be ashamed if I did not accept his challenge and fight him in the Danger zone.

Well moving on from my ridiculous personal wealth gained through my complete lack of moral scruples we have a rather special match coming up.

Already Dead the Elven Archer

Liberal Dmite II the Avenging Axedwarf


Already Dead is known for his previous arena victory, a victory achieved over the father of Dmite the second. Now Dmite the second has issued challenge to his father's killer, a challenge to be taken in the pit of despair...  A place where your opponent is only half the danger.

Things start fast as Already dead looses an arrow before Dmite the Second can even twitch. This might not bode well for Dmite, father like son.


Dmite the second seems to have his father's fury and more than his father's luck. At the last possible second Already Dead's arrow skims a hair from Dmite the second, Dmite doesn't let the advantage go to waste closing the distance before Already Dead can fire again. The wet shear of metal on bone splits the heat as Dmite the second cleaves Already Dead's right arm off at the elbow, the dismembered member flies a short distance before splashing down in the magma... taking the Elf's arrows with it.


The Elf met the challenge with grace, it is a pity that he couldn't make a graceful exit while his leg was flying out into the sunset. Without his weapon Already dead was in short already dead... He did however make a good try by bashing Dmite in the foot with his bow, for that we can respect this strange elf.

 

Congratulations Dmite! You have made good your revenge, your father would be proud of your actions in the arena today. Chose your reward and hone your skills, may your kills be quick and many! We shall hope that your father is not too badly hacked up in the Dreadmarch, it is some comfort that you won't be fighting against your own father though... This time.

Yeah, if his first arrow hadn't skipped sideways he might have won. (When I accidentally set you up in the standard arena instead of the danger zone you did win, pity you couldn't do it twice.)

It is time for the....

Many have tried in the arena, and many have died trying. This a chance to try again, to live an echo of their being... To take their vengeance out upon the living. The dead have risen, but then so have the living. Their names shall forever be remembered as the first to brave the dreadmarch, Ragathgare the gnome, Gaaben the dwarf, and Remalle the dwarf more experienced than the other dwarf.

The fallen however are many, and their hunger is great. Their names are often less well known than that of the heroes who shall fight them,

With the odds almost 4-1 in favor of the fallen our champion should be relieved knowing that the fallen have lost nearly all of their gear as well as their combat expertise.

The Horde is great but our heroes remain steadfast, the gnome Ragathgare stands in the forefront with Remalle and Gaaben at his flanks. The dead snarl, and our heroes snarl back... Today death shall be faced, whether it is embraced or cast back... well that is up to our heroes.

 

Ragathgare charges forwards without hesitation, quickly getting himself into knot of the undead. Gaaben shatters a zombie with a well aimed blow and Remalle takes a zombie claw to the gut, winding him.



Minutes pass as steel flashes and the dull thud of warhammer on rotten flesh grows less and less frequent. Ragathgare takes several vicious blows to the chest bruising his heart, lungs and liver. Remalle comes to his rescue, slashing a zombie into pieces with such ferocity as to throw several pieces of rotting flesh into the churning water. Then as suddenly as it began the battle ends... Gaaben suffered only a broken wrist and numerous other bruises. Ragathgare however suffered heavy enough injured that he lapsed into unconsciousness at the end of the fight, still he survived. Remalle made it through the fight without so much as a scrape, showing just how much of a pansy-fest 11 zombies/skeletons can be.

Your rewards are well earned, pick any piece of iron equipment and a skill point. Go and kill all those who stand before you so as to make the next Dreadmarch something more... notable.
