Warcraft series...World of Warcraft?  It's the result of repeatedly clicking a unit or NPC until they get irritated.  The first one is an orc, not sure on the second one.

I actually think it's from W40K: DoW, the goblin workers for the Ork faction.

Nope.  Although I was slightly off, it's the /funny emote for the orc males, not the "irritation" sound.

Warcraft 2's orcs used to say the first quote, and the second is from Warcraft 3's orc grunts.

Fair enough, although the canon for Battletech is muddy enough that it doesn't bother me much.  Out of curiosity, though, what non-working AMS?  I don't recall any of the 'mechs in that engagement mounting one, although I may be a bit fuzzy on specs...

That might be a bit harsh...a lot of people were introduced to Battletech through MW3 and MW4, even with the complaints from the old guard about MW4.  I'll grant that the MW4 Mek Paks were an awful idea, though.
