Mac mod question
« on: January 14, 2011, 09:02:10 pm »

Hey guys! I'm a pretty new DF player, and I see all these great mods out there for DF. But I'm on a Mac so I'm not sure how to get them to work? I don't have much programming experience, and I'm not even sure if the Mods will work. But if anyone can help me out it would be much appreciated!

-Thanks!

Almost all mods work on the mac.  You simply replace a couple raw files and away it goes.  Even the big ones like total conversion mods.

Almost all utilities DO NOT WORK on the mac.  That's just the way things go.

Yep.  What profit said is true in my experience too.  I use a mac, and I play around with a few mods.  Just be sure to replace the raws properly.  It's usually fairly straightforward, but if something is confusing to you then feel free to shoot me a PM and I'll see what I can do.
