I cannot seem to uninstall nor install "The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion" because I continue to get this error from installshield called "-5006 : 0x800ffff", how do I get rid of this error.

There's an error you get when you install and uninstall the game in a short period of time. The solution is in the readme. I think all you have to do is remove it using the control panel.

I used the free version of revo uninstaller to remove oblivion very recently. A computer literate friend suggested it to me. Download the free version here.
