Commander Gryph I would like to enlist in you army!

Name: Akhier Dragonheart the 1st
Preference: Lasers and pistols
Position: Soldier
Bio: I am the results of a secret Goverment program dealing with cloning. If I may die then they may possibly send a new me out though because of some problems with the technology I may be completely different in shape from my last form. Personally I think they want to test as many of me to destruction as they can so please send me ahead to scout for the people you can not so easily replace!

So it seems I accidentally put my canteen in my wheelbarrow and didn't notice... and then I got really thirsty... so right before going to sleep I go to take a swig from my canteen and... end up snorting a line of low-grade meth.

I have absolutely no idea what's going on in this fort any more. Migrants arrive, they die for some reason, the fort is flooded for another reason, then dwarves go mad, more dwarves die and I'm just laughing in my distress.

Commander Griffin, Conversation Record, datetime unknown
DP2: "SIR, I am here to avenge my brother!"
CG: "Reaaaaallly... lets look at your file, then. Ah, HE was your brother? Then I hereby dub you DOOM POTATO EYE EYE!!!"
DP2: "SIR! My brothers name was-"
CG: "Tsk tsk! He was Doom Potato in this squad, and THUS SHALL YOU BE! Now, any weapon preference?"
DP2: "Grenades of all sorts and only grenades, sir! They are my specialty and my passion!"
CG: "What's that? Plasma rifles? Why, I couldn't agree more. Off you go now, have fun, take a grenade or two with you when you leave, but if I catch trying not to use a gun I'll shoot you! Buh bye!"

---
So, Maxicai, important question - Do you attempt to use grenades and only grenades anyways next mission, perhaps tossing your gun behind a bush or something?

Hey Glyph, I think I figured out why your screenshots are so small. DOSbox's inbuilt screen capture resizes to 320x200. If you want your screens to be bigger, I recommend you use Irfanview to capture screenshots.

Also, just a tip. If you want to capture bullets flying through the air, set "fire speed" in the battlescape options to 1.

Azurro, recommending software that doesn't work on my computer is not terribly useful. ;)

And if I wanted to edit the files to make them bigger, of course I could! but I don't WANT to edit the files.

I could try seeing if I can change the dosbox setting, though I admit I like the small screenshots...

Edit to add
Woah, heavy plasma has come out of nowhere to take a commanding lead in the polls!

Yeah, I know. Last time I checked Heavy Plasma had only 1 vote(me).

Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.

Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.
