I realize that they must have [TRAP_AVOID]... but can they be knocked prone by cave-in dust long enough for a cage-trap to capture them?

Other questions: I would assume that they are building destroyers, but that they can't get through the OUTSIDE face of a raised drawbridge, yes? Can they fly? ... as in: up through the hole in the ceiling caused by my cave-in? What about Syndromes? If a Forgotten Beast has brain-dissolving saliva, or eyeball-liquefying breath (or whatever), is it safe to keep one caged in a Dwarven Kiddie Zoo? Maybe not in a Petting Zoo...

FB's have the [NOSTUN] tag I think, which makes it impossible to stun them with a cave-in. They CAN however, be caught in a GCS web and get caged if they're on top of it.

FB's don't have tags, but technically yeah.
So basically, go and chain up a Giant Cave Spider (Tame!) surrounded by cage traps. I've caught one once for lulz (I usually use traps instead to kill 'em off).

Sure they do - I've got a script here that extracts them from world.dat/world.sav.
