I think the Illusionist's target is also aware they're being redirected.

Keep trying.

Ever consider we could have an illusionist in our midst?

Illusionists make people's actions target the wrong targets.  In the case of round 2, the person who was a victim of that knew that he was redirected.

So...I doubt it.

Well, I'm out of ideas then. Can we get this day over with so I can watch Leafsnail hang sooner?

I really would love to keep trying, but I really have no way to prove it other than my death.

Meph, can the day be shortened again?

Sorry, I'm super busy this weekend so Monday morning is the earliest I can do.

Quote from: Jim
JTF has an inspect of some sort, so I'm going to use it on him. He'll likely have useful information, regardless of any potential demonification on his part.
Is there any way or role that would get a hint as to whether the revived JTF is still town or a demonic SK?
As Toaster said, Sage.

Ever consider we could have an illusionist in our midst?
As someone else also beat to the punch in saying, Illusionist is a redirecter. I know this because I was one last time around.

It's kind of pointless me voting, so I won't bother.

For various reasons, including procrastination and being really hot, I haven't got anything to post. Due to the aforementioned heat and, well, actually pretty much just the heat, I request you start looking for someone to replace me, but I'm not leaving until I've actually done something. This is basically so that (hopefully) Meph will have someone ready to jump in as soon as I actually leave.

The Scribe's Tally Sheet
Leafsnail: NativeForeigner
NativeForeigner: Jack A T, Jim Groovester, Leafsnail, Mr.Person, Org, Ottofar, Toaster, Zathras

"Time to test the truth", says the executioner.

Two guards lead a frustrated NativeForeigner up the steps to the gallows.

"Fine. But heed my words! All I can do now is pray that my sacrifice is not in vain!" He shouts as the rope is looped around his neck.

A sharp crack, and he is dead.

The High Priest slowly ascends the stairs. And, again, places his hand upon the dead.

"A good soul." He says, sadly. "A true Fortune Teller, blessed by the gods with sight."

He turns. "Night falls, and we have no time for another hanging today. I can only hope that we are not too late."

You all scatter, seeking the protection of your homes or the cover of night.

Day 3 has ended. Send in your actions!

Once again, if you have a one-use power please let me know if you are not going to use it.

Eight of you gather in the town square.

Zathras is no longer among you.

However, when you go to determine his fate Toaster stops you.

“No need," he smirks. "I know what happened to him.”

 You turn, expectantly.

“He was an obstacle in our path to glory. One that has now been...removed.”

Gasps from the crowd. One man yells out “Kill him! Hang him!”

Jim Groovester stands up on  the rim of the central fountain.

“No. Toaster shall not be harmed. A new day dawns in this town. A new Lord rules over you.”

He smiles. A dark, evil, and triumphant smile.

 “Me.”

Mr.Person, Toaster, Leafsnail, and Jack A.T. all bow before him.

The High Priest, fury clearly visible on his face, strides up to Jim.

“How dare you declare yourself Lord of this town? What makes you think you have such a right?”

“This.” Jim’s hand lashes out, stabbing into the man’s chest. The is a horrible cracking sound as Jim pulls the beating heart of the Priest out and holds it before you all. He then drinks the blood pouring from it.

Red eyes glowing brightly even in the morning sun, he gazes out at the stunned town.

“Bow before you new master!” cries Mr.Person.

And the crowd does so, as the Vampire Lord looks on with a triumphant smile.

Game over! Victory goes to the Vampires!

And, I must say, they were both good and lucky this time around.

I'll have the pms up shortly.

Ah ah ah ah.

The town is now mine.

Ah ah ah ah.

Yeah, we had terrific luck this game. Converting the serial killer on Night 1, and then killing or converting both inpects that got guilty results on us on Night 2. Things couldn't have gone better.

@Zathras: Told you so. Town again. :-\ :)

@Jim Groovester: Good play. I investigated you Night 2, so if I had actually been Resurrected, you would have likely been screwed. Not that there was actually a chance of that...

@Archangel: Stop joining games you're not going to play. Seriously. I cannot remember you *ever* actually playing a game you've joined.

@Org and @Ottofar: Be more active. Lurky town kills games. In hindsight, I really wish I would have pushed the Org lynch more. :-\

@Everyone: When you've had that many mislynches and there's a claim/counterclaim like Leafsnail's, think carefully about what you're about to do.

@Everyone again: This:

If for some reason I don't live through the night, go back and look at my summary post.
You knew I was town and yet *none* of you commented on this... It was meant to get you thinking about Zathras being town. Normally, I would have pushed him back, but I wasn't. I even said several times 'he's town'. I died and flipped Seer and yet you ignore it... Bah.

EDIT: And as an addendum, the Vampires figured out that I was a cop, but the town didn't. No matter how blatant I was about it at the end. Bah humbug. (Yes, I shouldn't have mentioned it to begin with, that was an accident. But dang...)

It's hilarious really.  In the same night, Native got an obvscum result on Jim, and I got a scum result on Toaster.  It's amazing that all three of these were negated the following day.

Yeah, the SK and three mystics were supposed to be the counter to the Vampire's conversion. But...it just didn't work out that way.

So it goes, I guess.

I was actually hoping that Jim Groovester was a Priest. Because that most likely would have meant that I would be raised as a SK or the like.

Then I could have killed off Archangel and Org. Oh happy thoughts. :)

Yeah, the SK and three mystics were supposed to be the counter to the Vampire's conversion. But...it just didn't work out that way.

So it goes, I guess.

"The best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry" :)

If only any one of the N1 convert, N2 kill, N2 convert had gone differently, it would have been a rather different game...
