You know what, it's better off if this post isn't here.

You know i kind of feel toady is holding back all the nice things because he knows. gods he knows eventualy someone will make a flesh dragon that bursts out of kittens and infects 1 in 2 cats on the map.

Toady one takes 2d6 existential damage every day due to "What have I done..?"

A terrifying grin spreads across his face.

There is a symbiosis between wamblers and badgers. Wamblers work as spotters for badgers - whenever wamblers spot a dwarven colony, their bodies start excreting a special pheromone-like substance that attract and angers badgers of all kinds. After the badgers tear the unlucky dwarves apart, cute wamblers sustain themselves on bodypart/fat/tissue leftovers.

The entire content consists of senseless murder, a pile of faceless naked women and zero regard for human life in general, all in the service of the protagonist's base impulses. It is clearly a cry for help from a neglected, self absorbed and disempowered juvenile badly in need of affectionate guidance. What a sad, sad display.

I think it is about time to create a Wambler mod.

LET ME BEGIN.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

One down. Don't quite know if that will work, considering it's the first time I've tried to mod in a creature. Stick it in the creature_standard part of the raws, and if you see one, give me a shout. Tell me if it moves, bleeds, dies unexpectedly, dismembers dwarves, excetera.
If you find anything that would make it work better/move better, don't hesitate to add it on. If it does work properly, then I'll start spamming out different ones. Like FBs that can be made of 'pudge', Winged Wamblers, [BUILDING DESTROYER] Wamblerinators, excetera.

Hell, maybe an entire WamblerMod.

This beast will become the ultimate megabeast in my personal mod. Sure, we have bronze collosi and dragons, but all hail the FLUFFY WAMBLAH!!!!

Needs to be about 300% bigger, made out of steel, fluffy and constantly on fire.

Don't worry. That'll come next, along with SOMEHOW modding Wambler Chestbursters so that they actually chestburst. Perhaps using a syndrome of some sort that produces Fluffy Wambler x1, and kills it's host?

The closest you could get is an extract like refuse that allows the spawning of fluffy wambler vermin. But that would allow flies and other nasties e.t.c.

vermin chestbursters? :D
Not quite, giant fluffy steel wambler parasitoids that deposit vermin wambler extract everywhere, and the vermin wamblers spawn on the extract. The extract will hopefully mostly be on corpses ;p

This might help you , its just some artwork reasembling it
Btw if you want to tame them take your mind away D; , its imposible , anyways there vermin that can only be found in Good areas

For what it's worth, this one is missing the nose, and it shouldn't have ears or a mouth. And it needs to be vaguely humanoid.

I think I drew this back when I mostly played 40d, before vermin had defined body structures. All the info we had back then was some dwarf fortress talk describing the fluff, pudge, and 'eye material' structures... but the fan art thread knew nothing else of their anatomy.

I looks like it has a nose already?
Can't tell if it's a nose or mouth.
