Intellectuals

Raggers
All dwarves should prosper without distinction.
-Good housing, education and rations for entire population.
-Focus on raw materials production and processing for export to Mountainhome or humans.
-Elimination of class distinctions.
-Open immigration.

Glimmerbells
-Preservation of the environment through careful mining, hunting and logging.
-Good relations with elves.
-Establishment of natural preserves and entertainment.
-Plentiful food and drink, officially sanctioned parties.
-Minimal military and law.

Intellectuals
The pursuit of knowledge and liberty is important.
-Education for all dwarves, not just the rich.
-Good ties with other nations.
-A small military.
-Investigation into natural and supernatural phenomena.

So in essence:
- Don't give noble classes more than they earn (I am classist now, after all)
- Only a minimum of dedicated military forces, without special privilege
- Make lots of food and drink, a good standard of living for all
- Study other races and try to be friends/trade partners (Sorry Norrec, our characters won't agree here)

It's ridiculously idealist, and I don't expect it to work well.  Other dwarves, and the evil races, will make things Fun.  I don't mind!

Independents, Intellectuals and Raggers.

My character is interested in knowledge (you can tell on how he wants to experiment on anything that is weird.) Independents because nobles are just too bossy and that would make me and Norrec suffer due to class. And raggers would give everyone a good home, although that is slightly idealist. My classes may change on current events.

While I believe in various parts of many of the differing factions beliefs, Main support is for Militaristis, Godschilds,  and Royalists.

I feel I should clarify, I don't mind trading with other races as part of Goldguard, I just want to keep all of the best stuff here at the fort and give them our lesser goods in exchange for materials we can turn into trade goods/wealth.

Also DDP, Spoiler that shit seriously.  Also, I'm pretty sure if you agree with that many factions, you're going to run into some problems (i.e. their goals don't line up)

We seem to be picking three each, which is reasonable I think.  I'd suggest only subscribing to a faction if you agree with *all* of its tenents - if we could pick and choose, we'd all belong to all of them!

I figured that, yeah.  We both support trade with civilized races like elves and humans.  What I meant is that Adil is going to be trying diplomacy with flat-out evil races, if they're sentient.  It's not smart, it's pretty crazy, but it's due to her xeno-curiousity and surfacer nature.  And craziness.

But don't worry, she isn't that chaotic-neutral stereotype that'll do dangerous stuff for the lulz.  If the goblin's charging, Adil will shoot or engage it, not hand it flowers.

Well.. My character doesn't really like nobles due to how snobby they are and such. He is interested in learning why this does that and such and so trys to find out mysterys. Raggers because well.. They are carefree. I might take doomguards. I dont know truely.
