12 confirmed deaths.
Victoria is suffering some flooding.
Grafton is getting a lot of publicity on the tv, where my older sister lives, but she said things should be ok where she is, so that's a plus.

Yeah, my brother just had his house go underwater, so he and his roommates are staying here for a while. Luckily they got the TV and computer and stuff out. Unluckily, not the Xbox, Laptop, or any of their kitchen appliances.

There have been storys about pubs and bars that knew they were going to go under giving out free beer before the place got flooded.

I am envisioning a man wearing whatever he could find out of his half-flooded dresser walking down the road with booze and hand, a strut in his walk, saying "haters gonna hate".
Boy I hope these people end up alright. Flooding stinks, and is very scary when it just keeps rising.

Well... I'm lucky I live in the hilly part of Brisbane. :D But yeah, I've had a few friends lose a lot of things in this flood.
