Gay Rights
"Homosexual Behavior" becomes a crime at C+, triggered by dropping a failed pick-up line to a Conservative (if failed normally) or Moderate (if failed critically). This triggers the site alarm as well. Depending on Death Penalty's status at the time, at trial it will most likely result in Death Sentence (C+) Life Sentence (C), Standard Imprisonment (M), Token Imprisonment (L), or a Warning (L+). I'm not really sure how you could get that last one to come about, but there you go.
Military Spending
Addition of a new Outskirts structure, the Millitary Base. C through L determines the portion of the Soldiers that are Conservative, Moderate, and Liberal. Also houses Officers (same proportions as Soldiers with a slant towards Conservatives), Warmonger Generals (Arch-Conservatives), and Liberal Generals (Elite Liberals). Houses a Nuclear Silo (except at L+) that can be accessed by liberals with high computer skill, causing a severe liberal slant towards Military Spending if your liberal can break the missles with a successful interaction. At C+ becomes Neo-Crusader Base. Soldiers are replaced by Neo-Crusader Knights, Officers by War Priests, and Warmonger Generals by Knight-Commanders. All are conservative. Liberal Generals no longer spawn in the base, but Ex-Liberal Generals can be found drowning their sorrows in the Gentlemen's Club. At L+ becomes Pacifistic National Defence Center. Soldiers are replaced by Peacekeepers, Officers by Ethics Regulators, and Liberal Generals stay the same. Warmonger Generals no longer spawn in the base, but Ex-Warmonger Generals can be found drowning their sorrows in (you guessed it) the Gentalmen's Club. Soilders carry M16s and wear Army Body Armor or Army Uniforms. Officers carry .45 pistols and wear Officer Uniforms. Both types of general are unarmed (psych attacks) and wear General Uniforms. Neo-Crusader Knights carry Sanctified XM8s and wear Neo-Crusader Armor (better than Army Body Armor). War Priests carry Punishment Flails (powerful blunt weapon that can hit multiple times in a single attack) and wear War Priest Uniforms. Knight-Commanders remain unarmed and wear Mechanized Armor (even better than Neo-Crusader Armor, would be the best in the game if I'm understanding the armor system right). Peacekeepers wield Pacification Rifles (no harm to the liberal, but can render them helpless and needing to be carried if hit too many times) and wear Peacekeeper Armor (on par with Police Body Armor). Ethics Regulators wield Pacification Pistols and wear Regulator Uniforms.
Tax Structure
Addition of an Income Tax could give this effect. Depending on a Liberal's profession (marked as either Lower, Middle, or Upper Class), they are taxed a certain amount of money by the IRS each April 15. They can choose to pay or not. Not paying marks the Liberal with the crime "Tax Dodging". Each Liberal that does not pay increases the chance of a siege by the IRS, consisting of squads of Tax Police (Tax Enforcer at C+) each lead by one Tax Collector (Tax Lord at C+). The former have guns, the latter attacks psychologically. At C+, Upper Class Liberals pay next to nothing, Middle Class Liberals a somewhat large amount, and Lower Class Liberals a very high amount. At C, Upper Class Liberals pay a lower moderate amount, Middle Class Liberals a higher moderate amount, and Lower Class Liberals a moderate amount. At M, Upper Class Liberals pay a lower high amount, Middle Class Liberals a moderate amount, and Lower Class Liberals a high lower amount. At L, Upper Class Liberals pay a high amount, Middle Class Liberals a lower moderate amount, and Lower Class Liberals a low amount. At L+, Upper Class Liberals pay an extremely high amount, Middle Class Liberals a low amount, and Lower Class Liberals pay almost no taxes.
