As for personal peeves, I'd dearly like to see the pets-trying-to-path-through-pet-impassible-doors bug fixed.
Thats not a bug, but an artifact of the path finding system. Dorfs will also try and fail to pass through impassable doors as well. One of the small methods to reduce FPS drag, is to not include any doors in your fort to less their impact on FPS.

And Path Finding refinement/rewrite is one of the top ten ESV, therefore on the sooner then later (but not time bond) to-do list, even if not listed on the current Dev page.

Definitely military/healthcare's remaining issues.  It can be annoying to lose dwarves in battle because they are improperly equipped despite the screen saying they are, and having perpetual invalids for what should be recoverable injuries is problematic.  I'd also like to see the nobles fixed, although this will be more relevant once a working economy exists.

This is wrong. Dwarves do not attempt to pathfind through forbidden doors. Animals do try to pathfind through pet-impassable (yet non-forbidden, i.e. open to dwarves) doors, and will do so constantly, because pathing works the same for both dwarves and pets. Completely forbidden doors are, to my knowledge, treated as suitably blocked by the game's pathfinding code.

Fix the issue where SUPERHUMAN adventurers can shrug off severs yet a broken bone of any kind makes them faint multible times. Also fix broken nails and noses never healing.

Quite simply, Diagnosers.

They're useless.

In fact, hospitals in general. Nobody seems to do anything, the hospital never registers things stored inside it, etc etc.

Also SOAP. Let dwarfs clean themselves again!

The current economy isn't a bug. It just sucks. Adding a proper economy is what the Caravan Arc is.

In the vein of hospital fixes, it's been a while since I last played, but I recall Dorfs being ridiculously tough under some circumstances. For instance, a Dorf battered to all hell by some beast unknown can have a number of fingers and toes severed, most of his limbs mangled or broken, and he will actually get up to do something in the rare event the doc actually comes to check on him. Dorfs must REALLY hate doctor's visits.

There is no thing like economy - there was and in .18 is removed (not due to bugs, design was bad)
