Tried this with some guys in the teamspeak when it launched.  Thanks for trying to guide me through and meet up with me in the world (never did meet up with anyone).  Anyways, with the options of either paying up per month or rolling lots of alts, I really can't see myself playing this.

Ah, so those Game Time thingies are not 720 hours, but a real month, even if you don't play... Well, that makes sense, otherwise it would be super cheap.

I'll be lurking this forum for a while, but I don't really think I'll play, really. Worst thing is we never had a single hint about this. I was shocked when I saw it.

Yeah, when the server went live and someone noticed the payment/store page, the teamspeak basically went dead in disbelief for a while, then came the hopes that it was a massive troll.  It seemed to blindside the vets as much as the newbies.

Ok there is nothing wrong with monetizing a game, but not announcing in advance that you are moving from f2p to a p2p subscription is a huge blunder and completely amateuristic.

Not announcing your payment change until its active is probably worse than not announcing your expandalone until you release it.

Of course, they may end up losing so many players that they rethink the payment options.

Hell, even SoH had some kind of warning because it was said it would be brought back only as P2P game. This is pretty bad and sad, though at least there's still a two (or three?) days of free time to jump in once and screw around for a while.

Well it's 48 hours of in game time to find out whether you want to buy it or not.  So depending on how much you play that could be a fairly long while.

I believe old accounts are automatically verified for free. Or that's what the store says, because somehow it tells me my account is verified.

That makes 24 free hours per month, instead of 12. If it was 48 free hours... maybe that would be enough for casual playing, I don't know. Maybe 72. But 24 is not enough. And I'm sitting in the void zone between "I don't play enough to pay a subscription" and "I play too much for the free time to be of any use". Sad.

How's the game for anyone playing? Have you found each other?

Uh I found all the 4 people who actually wanted to play pretty easily.

It's pretty good.  Like it more than old haven personally.

less russians, less bots, less script grinding.  Ect.
