I guess difrent client, new world, new fresh start, otherwise would be ridoculous. The game is worth it even with russians, griefers are everywhere but you have to find a way to fight them.

Speaking of getting ganked by griefers, they're putting a cap on the combat deltas (ie the weights calculated from combat skills and used to determine how much of a defence bar an attack removes) so you'll have an actual chance to fight back even if you play casually. Chances are you'll still lose, though, the griefer will likely have had more practice with the combat system. Still, it makes the militia idea viable, because the number of fighters will be more important than individual fighters' stats.

Anyway where are you from guys? Any EU players? Iv used to play with American players so no worries for me, also i think that difrent time zones are good for us so we can keep an eye on the town all the time, but for that we need a decent amount of ppl in town

Damn, I've missed HnH for awhile. Been about 2 years since I last played a village, but it was enjoyable. I'd be up for it again, when is the new world slated to come out?

Glad to hear they changed their mind. I wonder if people will still be able to punch walls down.

I think you'll still be able to knock walls down with a sledgehammer.  Well palisades at least, as the previous str required to do that was around... 120 I think and the caps I believe are going to be at 200.

I personally hope they did something about those personal claims that claimed like 400000 acres that were just unused and only to force people to walk around them or crimaction though them leaving you to be killed if you did cause they could track your down like an arse about it...

Also I be Aussie...

They already 'kinda' fixed that, if someone who owns a claim doesn't log on for a period of time (a month I think?) the claim icon starts to decay and can also be broken by other players.

Also, trespassing scents only last a day or so, aren't summon-able ect... but yeah they could potentially find where you live thanks to them.

On another note:
How do we propose to find each other once the new version launches?  Should we all use skype/steam/ or something else someone can recommenced to run a group chat discussing where we are and allowing us to party to find each other?

That doesn't stop someone logining on to prevent the decay of this LP Gainer...

Those claims were LP banks, because you could declaim them to get a full refund for the LP invested. In case of death it could give you a significant boost on your succeeding character. IIRC they mentioned something about no longer refunding LP when declaiming.
