Yeah, this is temporary, until we find a more permanent location. I'm thinking we make a raft when we move. Sure, its fucking slow, but We can transport all out junk on one craft.

Edit:Also My HS has been changed, so you will need to PM me for the new one

Too bad you can't lock this thread to shut people up like you always do, because people are not allowed to have freedom of speech, right?
Not done being an asshole then, are we?

Regardless of all else, there's a decent looking place with plenty of not-cliffs and pine forest, with a red grassland within spitting distance.  It'd be a pretty small boat ride and walk, and if we can pave a road that becomes even smaller.  It may be far enough inland to avoid casual minimap appearance too, even zoomed out a bit, so we may not need a road, and just claim a little 'boathouse' on the shore to handle boat issues, like storing vessels, drying/tanning hides, and producing sausage.  Animals products are the most likely thing to come into the boathouse, after all.

No ma`am, we are. It was hard to acquiesce sudden spike of a grudge like that, I appologize.

On a more serious note:
Can you guys pm me your hs? I would like to know where you guys are from me, and if we are relatively close or not.
If we are, I can bring some straw dolls that can yield around 9k~10k LP when full peaceful / change.

Edit #2: PM recieved. Balls, this looks nothing like the area around my village, I've spent 2 days exploring and mapping land around me, so it's not likely that we can meet in conventional means.
I may be able to travel to you guys once you can set up village idol, but until then, I'll keep grinding unarmed / strength / survival.

I give this settlement a week before it re-dies from inactivity. Or re-re-dies. Or however many times something was started in this game and didn't get anywhere.
Judging by the current levels of resources and enthusiasm I'd say this settlement will last at least a month (notwithstanding relocating) before things get dull. Enough to be worth jumping on the bandwagon, IMO.

The thing is, is that we never went beyond. We did our chores and that was it. I say we go beyond that, and expand into RAIDING. That's what will keep this interesting. Once we are well established, we attack, raid, etc. Because there is literally nothing to do end game other than fight others. We wont be assholes who kill noob chars, but we will fight our equals.

I'd just like to point out that I know a good number of the people that are still amongst the active 200 or so players, and end game fighting involves skill levels in the range of 1500-3000 skill...  though there is more then enough abandoned places to crack open and loot which is cool.

Not 1500, but more like 100-300. But only diehards get that far.

We can pull that off, though.  Reach the threshold for flotsam and you can find a LOT of LP, combined with decent farming and you've got all the attributes through the roof.  Just start dwarven binge feasts.

Haven's combat system is very friendly to zerging, so those high end characters can be beaten if you have the numbers.

No I'm not joking, a lot of the pvp'ers that are still alive are actually that high.

The max I have seen on anyone is 500. And that was a guy who was forcefed high end curios until he popped. No joke. I SERIOUSLY doubt that.

Back when I last played seriously, around a year ago, 500-700+ for the boys and girls boys pretending to be girls in Dis was pretty standard fare, and as I recall there were plenty of posts on their forums to prove it. My personal in-game mentor stressed that I should avoid PvP until I was at least ~300 or so (3 months of playing and I never got a single skill over 150).

Indeed, there are (or were) people who ate, slept, and breathed H&H as much as any MMO.

It seems that After Death is going around and bugramming into towns and bearbashing their idols down.
It is obviously followed by looting, sacking, vandalism, and murdering.

They are vets who's been playing before the lag fix, so be warned.
