No other changes, and it's still world 6 (started on Oct 24 2011). There's still lots and lots of horrible bugs, but on the flipside the lag drove away almost everyone so the world shouldn't be that hostile.

So, pretty much post-apo world full of ruins and few settlements of die-hard players/russians? :P

"Until next time, this is John Henry Eden, signing off."

I'm hoping to get back to the game eventually, anyone looking for a slave helping hand for chores?

Play Don't Starve. It's more alive, better balanced, and you don't have to deal with griefers or intentional grinding built deep into the game design.

And it has the absolutely brilliant way of researching new stuff by gathering trash and dumping into a machine. Voila - knowledge! It's like they tried to outdo the stupidity of H&H's curiosity system and succeeded epically.

Now accepting bets on whether Jorb and Loftar will unscrew their heads from their asses to the end (now that the first turn is done) and restore the pre-curio system.

Yeah, fuck having any semblance of balance, fluff is all that matters in a game.

Last time I played for a while, it was before the curiosity system, which turned me off. But I as well would play again if there's other Bay12'ers in.

Made a character, started wondering around looking for rabbits. I found another player wearing a bear cape, we talked for a bit, and he invited me to his village.
Apparently the players started coming back, and people who already have settlements are more than eager to round up all the players with experience for the upcoming resource war.
