Large palisade sections up, claim up, 1 log house up and more on the way, gates inner and outer gates up, storage area up, 5 boats, 5 carts, tons of food, tons of meat, and we're starting up our non-essential farms. Still looking for a cave to get metal though. The region's caves are a bit bare and unkindly. That's not counting my friends next door who have multiple houses, farms, domesticated animals, etc next door. :)

We ended up settling right across from my friend's land, which is a bit south of a river bend and in a very good area. We reflected his 30x40 palisade design with 12x30 in the middle between us as a shared area for supplies crates carts and boats, of which we have plenty. We just got our first log house up, and I've proceeded to set up the claim and get to work on a few cupboards. I've been manufacturing bows, arrows, leather goods, and cooking the influx of meat that's come in, in preparation for our further expansion. I hope to give every one of my village clan members their own 30x40 area in which to live, grow, and excel. :)

We've got 3 B12ers, 2 strangers we met in-game, a B12er's RL friend, one of my cousins, myself the clan chief, and soon enough my girl will be joining us. Again, I extend my hand to any who wish to join us in making our quaint village into a sprawling empire of trade, expansion, and steel!

With much hope,

Sorry if a month old is necro posting. our village just got raided and my main killed because i happened to log on in the middle of it.

Anyone looking for some villagers? i got possibly 5 people counting me that need a home. we are slightly new, but we know the basics. I'd be interested in either mining or foraging, since i haven't done much of either lately. I was the village elf(farmer)/lawspeaker because no one else wanted it.

a few of the others played df as well. all are trustworthy in my eyes, and we were able to expand fast (too fast?) due to their hard work. we had 3 mines in different areas with tin, copper, iron and silver, and were 1 day away from starting our brick wall  :-[

let me know if you have any interest in us. I'd be interested in an underground village especially.

Aye, mate! We've got a palisaded 4-house village we just abandoned and are currently starting our own very large city right along the extreme north-east border of World 5. Very few cities around us, pretty much all of them abandoned, and we've got a mine up. Currently its myself, my cousin, and a few friends from Bay12. Let me know if you're interested via PM. :)

Incidentally would any of these places that have popped up be near where riverend used to be?

Considering jumping in again but I dunno if I want to walk cross continent to get there. :P

Hmm, no idea where riverend is. The vast majority of cities were abandoned long ago and have decayed into nothingness, to be honest. If you start a new character though, you'll magically teleport to our location provided we give you one of our hearth secrets.

To be honest, I'm in the mood to get back into DF, Cataclysm, and Aurora. I've neglected my 3 loves much too long for H&H and SS13 :P

Ivefan here is the new village chief (lol, guess I've temorarily retired) on account of me not being on much these days. He's currently in charge of designing the residential and industrial sectors of the city in our awesome new secluded location, though we currently have a nice base established across the river in which to relax and regroup during the primary construction phase.

We were planning to have a massive space shared just between the few of us, but hey, the more folk we've got, the bigger the city and the more hands there are to hunt, harvest, and build. Makes it easier for us all, in the end. :)

If I can't get back to you fast enough, send a PM to Ivefan. His Hearth Secret is right on the outpost encampment, anyway.

I'd need to know where it is in relation to riverend, and then I'll think about it. :P

Unfortunately I can't remember where riverend actually was, which makes it tricky as you can imagine.

I've still got the location of Riverend bookmarked http://algeralith.info/HavenMap/?x=19.82&y=98.94&zoom=8

I haven't logged on for months now.  I sort of don't want to because I know that everything we built has probably been either been raided or just decayed by now.

I dunno if I'll be able to fast travel directly from riverend but at least knowing which direction to go in would be nice, yes. :P

I logged into my account today and didn't se my character in the select screen. I'm pretty sure I might have left some scents in the kitchen claim before I last logged on. Make of that what you will.
